Calenbee Privacy Policy

Calenbee is an iPhone app that turns photos, voice notes, and typed notes into calendar events. This policy describes what data Calenbee accesses and how it is used.
Google account and calendar data
When you sign in with Google, Calenbee receives your name, email address, and profile picture to identify your account. With your permission, Calenbee uses two Google Calendar permissions:
Read access is used to list your calendars so you can choose where events are saved, and to find existing events when you ask to move or cancel one.
Write access is used to create, update, or delete only the events you explicitly review and approve in the app.
Your calendar data is accessed directly between your device and Google. Calenbee's servers do not store your calendar events, and your Google data is never sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising. Calendar event details you ask to match (titles, dates, calendar names) are sent to our server transiently to identify the event you meant, and are not retained.
Photos, voice recordings, and typed notes
When you scan a photo, record a voice note, or type a note, it is sent to Calenbee's server and processed with Google's Gemini AI to extract event details. These inputs are processed transiently and are not stored by Calenbee after processing.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions are purchased through Apple's App Store and are tied to your Apple Account. Calenbee verifies your subscription status using Apple's signed transaction data and does not receive your payment details.
Data retention and deletion
Calenbee keeps minimal account data (your Google account identifier) to operate the service. You can revoke Calenbee's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which immediately prevents any further calendar access.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Calenbee's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
